These after-school violin, piano, voice, and guitar lessons are available through a partnership with Villa Musica, a local non-profit community music center. They take place on campus and are designed to be a nurturing environment where students can further develop skills they learn during the day with music classes and ensembles directed by LJCDS music teachers. Parents will be billed through the school for lesson fees. 

Lesson options include:

• Group violin lessons for kindergarten students, Fridays from 3:30–4 p.m.
• Private violin lessons (Grades 1–12)
• Private piano lessons (Grades 1–12)
• Private voice lessons (Grades 1–12)
• Private guitar lessons (Grades 3–12)

  Students with private lessons meet with their teacher for 30 minutes one day a week between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.

By signing up for lessons, you commit to the entire quarter. Signing up for lessons also enrolls your students in Extended Day. After school lets out, they will be directed to the Extended Day program and escorted to and from lessons.
