ALL DAY–Sports: Torrey Lacrosse & Field Hockey Camp (Grade 5-9)
This four-day camp offers players of all levels the opportunity to learn the basics of lacrosse and field hockey. The morning session will focus on lacrosse then the afternoon will focus on field hockey so participants get a chance to learn and play both sports. It’s designed for players who want to work on fundamental skill-building with an emphasis on stick work, positional play, defensive footwork and game concepts. The goal of the camp is to teach skills and learn games strategy through various games to build confidence and deepen players’ passion for the sports.
What to bring: Each player should bring their own equipment (lacrosse stick, field hockey stick, goggles, shin guards, mouthguard, cleats or running shoes). Players can borrow lacrosse and field hockey sticks if needed but must have their own goggles, shin guards and mouthguard. A snack and a refillable water bottle are required. No experience necessary- beginners are highly encouraged to play! Please make sure the player’s name is on all items.
