4th to 5th Grade Math Summer Bridge | By Recommendation Only

Designed for students preparing to enter Grade 5 Math, this Math Summer Bridge course provides a supportive and engaging introduction to the next stage of learning. Grounded in the Illustrative Mathematics approach, the program focuses on building strong number sense, deepening conceptual understanding, and fostering confidence in mathematics.

Students will engage in meaningful, hands-on tasks that encourage exploration, multiple solution strategies, and mathematical discussion. Emphasis is placed on curiosity, perseverance, and joyful engagement with math—helping students develop a strong foundation for future learning.

Rather than acceleration, this course prioritizes depth of understanding and a positive math mindset, ensuring students feel prepared and confident as they transition into upper elementary math.

Schedule:

  • Days: Monday–Friday
  • Time: 11:00–1:00 p.m.
  • One Session
  • Session: Weeks of July 20 & July 27

**Enrollment is limited to students who have been recommended by the Middle School Math Department. Families will receive a registration code directly from the school to complete enrollment.
