6th/6th Honors to 7th Accelerated Summer Bridge | By Recommendation Only

Designed for students transitioning from Grade 6 / Honors Grade 6 into Grade 7 Accelerated Math, this Math Summer Bridge course prepares students for the increased pace and rigor of an accelerated pathway. Grounded in the Illustrative Mathematics approach, the program deepens understanding of critical concepts while reinforcing foundational skills and procedural fluency.

Students will engage in challenging problem-solving tasks, collaborative learning, and mathematical discourse to strengthen reasoning, accuracy, and flexibility in their thinking. Emphasis is placed on building confidence, refining strategies, and developing the independence needed for success in advanced math coursework.

Schedule:

• Days: Monday–Thursday
• Time: 12:00–2:00 p.m.
• 1 Sessions offered. 
• Weeks of July 20 & July 27.

**Enrollment is limited to students who have been recommended by the Middle School Math Department. Families will receive a registration code directly from the school to complete enrollment.
