Villa Musica Piano Lessons (K–Grade 12)

CONVENIENT, QUALITY MUSIC EDUCATION

Looking for an easy way to get started in music? Villa Musica has been bringing private lessons to the Country Day campus for eight years, taught by master teaching artists. Students enroll in a private 30-minute lesson each week and learn to play the piano in a supportive setting that covers proper technique, reading music, and music theory. Teachers work with students at every level, from those who have never touched a keyboard to those who are already flourishing players.

Program highlights

• One-to-one instruction: a private 30-minute lesson each week ($65 per lesson), with the curriculum built around the individual student.
• Choose your day: lessons run Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays in a slot between 3:30 and 7 p.m.
• Between 7 and 11 lessons: the count depends on which day you register for and how that day falls on the school calendar.
• Every level welcome: teachers are experienced with complete beginners through advanced players.
• The full picture: technique, reading music, and theory alongside the repertoire students want to play.
• Performance opportunities: students may perform at Villa Musica’s main campus in Sorrento Valley.
• Students leave with: a term of individual instruction and pieces they can play from memory.
