This program is available to students enrolled at LJCDS in fall 2026 only. Get ready for Kindergarten. Through rich literature, hands-on art projects, songs and games, students explore a variety of things with wings—from bugs to birds to airplanes. Each day is a new surprise! This two-week thematic program, which includes PE, snacks and recess, allows students to meet new friends and become accustomed to kindergarten routines at LJCDS. Kindergarten PM – Camp Torreys Kindergarten PM Camp Torreys is an afternoon enrichment program designed specifically for Kindergarten students. This on-campus program provides a relaxed, engaging extension to the day through hands-on activities, creative play, outdoor movement, and social time with peers. The afternoon experience supports Kindergarten-aged learners with developmentally appropriate activities that encourage cooperation, creativity, and confidence. Campers participate in games, crafts, and guided play in a nurturing environment led by LJCDS staff. Kindergarten PM Camp Torreys pairs well with morning Kindergarten: Ready, Set, Go! programs for families seeking a full-day Kindergarten experience. This program is separate from Camp Torreys for Grades 1–4 and is tailored exclusively for Kindergarten students. Families enrolling in both a morning Kindergarten program and Kindergarten PM Camp Torreys will have a supervised transition between programs.
